Located in the southwestern part of North Macedonia, the Debar region is known for its rich natural resources, diverse cultural heritage, and strong community spirit. Positioned near the borders of Albania, it serves as a key area for cross-regional cooperation and sustainable development.
The region is home to the Black Drin River, thermal waters, forests, and mountainous landscapes, making environmental protection a priority for RESET HUB. Challenges such as waste management, water pollution, and economic migration require innovative and community-driven solutions. Through education, technology, and policy advocacy, we work to promote sustainability, youth engagement, and economic opportunities tailored to the needs of the region.
Some of our initiatives in the region focus on:
Water and Biodiversity Protection – Addressing pollution in the Black Drin River and promoting conservation efforts.
Sustainable Urban Development – Encouraging zero-waste practices and green mobility solutions.
Youth Empowerment & Innovation – Providing young people with skills and resources for active participation in society.
Strengthening Local Governance – Supporting transparency, civic engagement, and responsible decision-making.
By combining local knowledge with modern solutions, RESET HUB aims to build a resilient, self-sustaining future for the Debar region and beyond.
