Clean Air, Warm Homes

Implemented in partnership with ZIP Institute This project focuses on addressing air pollution at the household level by promoting cleaner heating solutions and increasing public awareness about the health and environmental impacts of air pollution. The initiative includes a community-based survey to assess heating practices, energy costs, and barriers to adopting cleaner alternatives. Based on this data, a Climate Assembly is organized, bringing together citizens to discuss challenges and co-create practical recommendations. The project also results in a set of policy recommendations and a local Climate Action Strategy, aimed at supporting the Municipality of Debar in transitioning toward cleaner, more sustainable heating solutions.

Less Plastic, More Future

Implemented as a sub-grant within a project by People in Need This project promotes circular economy principles and aims to reduce plastic waste through community engagement and awareness-raising activities. Key activities include: Educational workshops on waste management and circular economy Community clean-up actions Creative workshops transforming collected waste into recycled art Public exhibitions and awareness campaigns Through a combination of education and hands-on activities, the project encourages behavioral change and strengthens environmental responsibility among citizens, especially youth.

Air Quality Monitoring Station

Air Quality Monitoring in Debar

Funded by Municipality of Debar This project established a hyperlocal air quality monitoring system in Debar by installing multiple monitoring stations across the city. The initiative provides real-time data on key pollutants such as PM2.5, PM10, CO₂, and TVOCs, enabling: Increased public awareness about air pollution Data-driven discussions on environmental and public health issues Support for evidence-based decision-making at the local level The collected data is continuously analyzed and shared with the public through digital communication channels, contributing to transparency and community engagement on air quality issues.

Water Guardians

Focus: Water conservation, pollution prevention, and community engagement Water Guardians is a community-driven initiative aimed at protecting and restoring local water ecosystems, with a strong focus on the Black Drin River and surrounding water bodies. The project involves a combination of citizen science, education, policy advocacy, and hands-on conservation efforts to ensure clean and sustainable water resources.

Tech for Social Good

Focus: Technology-driven solutions for social impact, digital inclusion, and innovation; The Tech for Social Good initiative harnesses the power of technology, innovation, and digital tools to address pressing social, environmental, and governance challenges. RESET HUB collaborates with tech experts, startups, civil society, and public institutions to develop and implement smart solutions that drive positive change in communities.
