♻️ 18 March – Global Recycling Day

On the occasion of this important day, within the framework of our project “Less Plastic, More Future”, an educational training was held yesterday with students and young people, focusing on circular economy and environmental protection.

During the training, key topics were addressed, including:
🌱 Circular economy – as an alternative to the linear “take–make–dispose” model
♻️ Sustainable waste management
🚫 The harmful effects of plastic pollution on the environment and human health

Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants gained a better understanding of how our everyday choices directly impact the environment.

📊 The infographics presented during the activity conveyed clear and powerful messages:
– Waste does not disappear, it only changes place and form
– Every product can have a second life
– Reduce, reuse, and recycle are concrete steps toward a more sustainable future

This training represents an important step in raising awareness and empowering young people, making them active contributors to change.

👉 Change does not require perfection – it requires awareness.
👉 From ideas to action – because the future is built today.

This activity is implemented within the project “Less Plastic, More Future”, which is carried out as a sub-grant under the project “Civil Society and Youth for Inclusive and Sustainable Development through Circular Economy in North Macedonia”, funded by the European Union.
